At The Lash Stú, we are committed to providing our clients with high-quality lash extension services in a safe and professional environment. To ensure that we meet this commitment, we have developed the following policies:
- Qualifications and Training: Our esthetician providing lash extension services is licensed by the State of Illinois regulatory agency and has completed a training program approved by The Lash Stu to ensure they are knowledgeable and experienced in providing safe and effective lash extensions. Our estheticians also receive ongoing training to keep their skills up-to-date.
- Health and Safety: The health and safety of our clients are of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we follow strict hygiene and sanitation practices in our lash extension services. We use disposable tools and supplies, such as applicators, adhesive cups, and eye pads, and sanitize all reusable tools and equipment according to state regulations. All clients will be provided with pre-care and aftercare instructions to minimize any risk of infection or allergic reactions.
- Consultation: Before providing any lash extension services, our esthetician will conduct a consultation to determine the client's needs and preferences, as well as any allergies, medical conditions, or other concerns that may affect the service. We reserve the right to decline services to any client who may be at risk of harm.
- Service Duration and Fees: The duration and fees of our lash extension services may vary depending on the type of lash extensions, the number of lashes, and the time required for the service. We provide an estimate of the service duration and fees during the consultation, and any changes will be discussed with the client before proceeding with the service.
- Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge you the full service fee. If you know you will be running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but this is not always possible due to other clients' schedules.
- Cancellation and No Show Policy: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and clients may need to cancel or reschedule their appointments. Therefore, we require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Failure to provide sufficient notice or no-showing for an appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee, which must be paid before booking any future appointments.
- Preparation for Appointment: To prepare for your lash extension appointment, please come to your appointment with clean lashes, free of any makeup or oils. It is also recommended to avoid caffeine and alcohol before the appointment as this can cause eye irritation.
- Aftercare: After the appointment, clients should avoid getting the lashes wet for the first 24 hours and avoid rubbing or pulling at the lashes. Clients should also avoid using any oil-based products on the lashes and only use a recommended lash cleanser. We provide aftercare instructions to all clients to ensure they get the most out of their lash extensions.
- Vegan Products: All products used at The Lash Stu are 100% vegan-based, meaning they are not tested on animals and do not contain any animal products.
